Westgate SuperContest Week 6 Recap

The SuperContest field slogged ahead, performing just below where we expected this week.  The average entry registered just 2.35 points. With two below average weeks, week 7 should be at least a slight bounce back week.  Look for scores closer to the 2.5-2.7 range. We now have a single entry in the lead with 23.5 points (78%), JAZ.  There's one other entry within .5 points at 23, KAPITAL GAINS.  There are also 4 entries tied for 3rd place with 22.5 points.

On the season, the field is averaging 2.46 points per week (49%), which is about where we expect the final percentage to finish.  The top 5 consensus (PIT, NE, JAX, CHI, IND) went 1-4 for the 2nd straight week.  The top 5 picks are now 13-17 through six weeks.

The ProMathletics team once again played the same games on all our 18 entries.   Our picks for the week were PIT, ARI, MIA, DAL, and KC.  We went 4-0-1, with an overtime cover from the Brockstar.  We now stand at 15-13-2 (53%) after six weeks and have 16 points in the contest.

You can see the dispersion of all the entries below.  14.5 points is now the most common entry score.  After six weeks, the average contest entry has about 2.46 points per week.
