Wednesday Night MLB on ESPN - Cardinals at Braves

Wednesday Night Baseball

St. Louis Cardinals at the Atlanta Braves

Market Line – ATL -120

ProMathletics GreenZone Play - 2 Units ATL -120

Starting Pitchers:

ATL - Soroka (R)

STL - Wacha (R)

This line was around -140 in favor of the home team Braves at the start of the day and our system still had them as a valued play at that level.  The fact that this one has come all the way down to -120 at time of publishing is a gift from the baseball wagering gods.

Both of these teams are hovering around .500 but will start to hit their stride as the season progresses.  That is similar to how our baseball model performs every year.  Last year and this year we have hovered around breaking even the first couple of months before we get our bearings and really start to take off.  That calibration is now pretty much complete and we have been taking off like a rocket ship once we broke into May.

ProMathletics Year to Date MLB Performance

Someone who hasn't taken a while to get in a groove is the 21-year old starting pitcher for the Bravos.  The 6'4" Canadian has been downright stingy going 3-1 in decisions with a 1.21 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and a 31/11 K/BB ratio.  On the other side of the diamond there is another Michael (Wacha) who is off to a 3-0 start, but is rocking an ugly 5.35 ERA and 1.65 WHIP.  He's been the beneficiary of a lot of run support and a bit of luck, but everything in our data points to Atlanta being somewhere in the -165 to -170 range.  We always trust our stuff, but this one is pretty easy to get on board with.

The Braves should get an additional shot of energy tonight with the highly anticipated call-up of masher, Austin Riley.  He's been absolutely tearing the cover off the ball at triple-A Gwinnett - with 15 bombs in 37 games to go along with his .300 average and 1.057 OPS.  He will be a defensive demotion in left field with Acuna moving to center and no Inciarte out there patrolling, but we believe his big stick will more than make up for it.

This is just one of the two valued plays subscribers received this morning...there is still a lot of ball left and plenty of time to join in the party and start stacking that bankroll for the fall!  Get set up on a weekly package to roll with us all summer long.
