The public could not possibly hate the Redskins more right now, so we won't be surprised when many of you respond with your disdain for this play.  Here's the deal, the Redskins, despite their record, are not anywhere near the worst in the league.  The injuries and quarterback shuffle that took place has led to some very poor performances.  That being said, the version of the team taking the field tonight should be about 12-point underdogs.  Getting what is now 16.5-points at some books is what we like to call value.

The Vikings are undoubtedly better on offense and defense, but we do have a slight edge on special teams and over two touchdowns on our side.  Short weeks are hard on everyone in the NFL and we are optimistic the increased motivation of Case Keenum and Adrian Peterson will be the shot in the arm this Redskins team needs.  Additionally, Kirk Cousins was not well-liked for the way he handled his final couple years in D.C., so this young Redskins defense should be playing with a chip on their shoulder.  We'll take the Skins getting the benefit of well over double digits and hope they take care of us like they did Week 1 in a similar spot against Philly.
