Thursday Night Football - KC at Den

KC (-3) at Den - YELLOWZONE

The 4-2 Chiefs find themselves at a crossroads. They’ve lost two straight, are dealing with a struggling defense, and have a beat-up roster. The Broncos seem to be heading in the opposite direction. They’ve won two straight (Chargers and Titans) after starting 0-4 and have the opportunity to make a statement tonight and take down the almighty Chiefs.

The Chiefs opened as 4.5 point favorites, but injury news and significant sharp money has brought this game down to just a field goal spread. KC will be without both starters on the left side of their offensive line, which is not great news when Von Miller is on the other side of the ball. Take away a starting CB Kendall Fuller from the Chiefs’ already bottom tier defense and such a small spread makes a little bit more sense.

Our models slightly favor the Chiefs, but not enough to back any real wager. It is hard to imagine this Chiefs team losing three games in a row, however, the numbers say this will be a close one. Tonight’s game falls into our YellowZone and we recommend no bet. In these situations, when we are itching for action, we will be looking for an early score from the Broncos and grab some KC live. Enjoy an action filled Thursday night and look for our valued GreenZone NFL picks Saturday afternoon.
