Week 7 saw us give back -4.9 units on a 4-5 overall weekend. We are still humming along at 55.7% on the year and up 7.9 units. Don't delay and get on board as we look to close out the season strong and continue our positive return to our subscribers.
Below is a full recap of the subscriber content and our updated performance YTD.
Week six saw us give a few units back, but we remain above 57% on the year with a cumulative unit total of +12.8. We are back on the road this week, with five 2-unit teams that are sleeping in rented beds tonight. All of our big plays happen to be south of the Mason-Dixon line, so don your best gameday threads, fire up the smoker, and pour yourself a glass of bourbon as we add to our stockpiles this weekend.
Mississippi State (-7) at Tennessee
The 3-2 Bulldogs head to Knoxville to take on the 1-4 Vols. Both teams are coming off tough losses to Auburn and Georgia. The Vols have yet to beat an FBS school, with Chattanooga being their lone win this year. The Bulldogs should have a huge offensive day as their run game has been dominant all year. The Vols D, on the other hand, has struggled against the run. Unless the Vols decide this is the game that turns the season around, we expect a big road win for the Bulldogs. Lay the points.
Florida State (+27) at Clemson
FSU has some momentum heading into Memorial Stadium Saturday afternoon. They are riding into Clemson with back to back home wins over Louisville and NC State. The undefeated Tigers are coming off a bye after almost getting upset by UNC two weeks ago. Obviously, we expect a Tiger win but not by more than 4-TDs. We like FSU to catch the big giant sleeping and keep this game under 3-TDs. Take the points and let’s get that COVER!
South Carolina (+24) at Georgia
The 2-3 Gamecocks look to pull a huge upset Saturday as they are on the road against the undefeated Georgia Bulldogs. It is never fun being against the top teams in the nation, but we must continue to bet the value. South Carolina QB, Ryan Hilinski has flashed top level talent at times this year and we think he shows up this Saturday. Lay the points and watch the Gamecocks make this a close game.
Florida (+13.5) @ LSU
This game should be an absolute slug fest. LSU has been fairly untested besides the Texas game, and all our measures have Florida as one of the premier teams in CFB. This many points in a game of this magnitude with a very credible opponent is just way too many. This Florida defense is very stingy. If they get a couple scores on offense, it will be very tough for Coach O’s Tigers to cover 2 TDs. Take the points for the Gators in what should be a great SEC showdown.
Memphis (-5.5) @ Temple
We are back on Memphis as they continue to be a force on the field. Temple will be one of the best teams they have played this year, but we still have the Tigers well over a touchdown here on all measures. The explosive play of Memphis should prove to be too much for the Owls to slow down. Make no mistake, the Tigers will give up some yards, but we just don’t see this Temple squad keeping up in a shootout. We like laying the points here under a touchdown for the Tigers.
